Looking for people who would like to play Apex Legends, New battle Royale FPS, it's free2play on Origin, anyone? 😊

Not seen this game before. But just been looking at some vids of it on Youtube and it looks quite good.

just downloaded and got it to work on the PC, was a nightmare with Directx redistribute failure all the time at 38%.

Found a workaround.

D:\Games\Origin\Apex\__Installer\directx\redist

Yours might be in a different location.

Delete everything except for dll files, they are:

DSETUP.DLL, dsetup32.dll and DXSETUP

You should now be left with 3 items in the folder.  

Go back to Origin and continue the download (or restart)

Game will load, but without HD textures, these download in the background, you can continue playing, it just looks a bit pants.
