Wouldnt mind one myself but I aint going to be paying that for one  :o.  Silly prices. Gonna stick with my 2560x1440 165hz monitor for a good while longer :)

Besides I personally think even the next gen graphics cards are going struggle to keep up with that resolution and refresh rate. Could be a couple of years at least before anything is out to fully get the best out of those kind of monitors.

Dam! that's steep! Would want 50inch for that ;D

Yeah as much as I would love to have one those monitors (wouldnt we all??!!) but the price of them is ridiculous mate.

Dont get me wrong I have paid silly money out for pc components over the years but over 2 thousand just for a monitor. and just think what you could get for that. You could get a cracking rig with that money alone.

They are selling them on Overclockers now https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus-pg27uq-rog-swift-27-4k-144hz-g-sync-ips-widescreen-led-monitor-black-red-mo-09q-as.html

I am going to buy one..............................If I win the lottery  ;D

Hi Lads,

im now looking to replace my two IIlyama Prolite E2483HS models, as im not getting the max use of my GFX card due to the 60 hz max setting on each... I wish the guys I bought them off pointed that out...

any thoughts besides 2.1k of a monitor? ive looked at the usual suspects, PC spec, OverCl, and amazon.. so much to chose from.

any trusted suggestions from you leg-ends

Keith, 1440 high refresh rate monitors IMO are the best options. As long as you have a beefy'ish gpu 1070 and upwards- its a great gaming option with high refresh rate and a good resolution with G-Sync as well to stop any screen tearing whilst playing FPS games.

Your right there is loads of options out there but obviously depends on your budget. The acer or asus are good options. Thjs is my monitor https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus-pg278qr-rog-swift-27-2560x1440-tn-g-sync-165hz-gaming-widescreen-led-slim-bezel-monitor-black-mo-099-as.html.

This is the one Judge has https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus-pg279q-rog-swift-27-2560x1440-ips-g-sync-165hz-gaming-widescreen-led-monitor-black-red-mo-088-as.html.

I think this is the one Kirky got https://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-Predator-XB271HUAbmiprz-ZeroFrame-Adjustable/dp/B01EN5JN5K?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_1

Took this one because I wanted no concession, I watch A LOT of tv shows and some movies on this screen, so wanted nice colors and angles, but wanted a high refresh rate for gaming too so you got to have g-sync or freesync on this type of panel.

Wow thats amazing, i mean the screen and the price. Im playing on a 144hz 1080p and 24 inch and im still happy with it. Which Gpu do you use Neox with a 1440p screen? I use the gtx1080 with a 8600k cpu no overclock yet.

Neox

I use a titan xp (2016). Which is a equivalent to a 1080ti in performance.
