Why do you think you got banned?
Possibly either my response was too harsh or I was banned mistakenly along with 2 other offenders who were insulting me.
Do you have anything else to add?
My response to one of the offenders was "Just showing support for both of your dads" - that was the only thing I can think about if I crossed any line defending myself from insults.

I want to be very clear: the ban is not because you are LGBT, support LGBT people, or because LGBT players are unwelcome. Everyone is welcome here, and homophobic language from other players is not acceptable either.

The issue is that the LGBT clantag has repeatedly led to political arguments, insults, and toxic chat instead of people just playing BF1. You writing comments like "just showing support for both your dads," which comes across as baiting/personal provocation rather than simply playing the game.

We are not interested in turning the server chat into a political or social debate from any side. I'm willing to remove the ban if you agree to change the clantag to something neutral and avoid provoking arguments in chat. At the same time, we will also moderate players who use homophobic insults or other abusive language.

In the two hours I have played I have seen multiple players responding to your clantag. And even when they don't actually say something homophobic, you have players like AmpGiveHugs asking additional questions like "what did you mean to say" to bait them for actually saying something homophobic.
