I'm playing at 1440p with everything at Ultra, and is it just me but BF5 looks poor ?
The players look like shiny Ken dolls and the vegetation look like flat 2D representations. Especially in those fields of mustard flowers.

Yeah playing in 1440 resolution here too with most settings on high and with a couple on ultra and I got to admit the animation on the soldiers do not look as good as the battlefield 1 soldiers.  Looks a bit cartoony if that makes sense. The way some of the soldiers run makes them look like they are constipated or something  

Don't get me wrong I think some of the maps look good in 1440 but I haven't been exactly blown away. The game is good mind you

Sure - game is fine. But a step backwards in graphics, very cartoony. Yeah constipated is about right.

It might have something to do with the original aesthetics of the game. That was pretty gimmicky, hence the poor initial response to the game
