lol,

I did the top one and lost 10 FPS and got connection and frame warnings - I had to reset everything to default and start over.

I actually changed all of my graphic settings based on JackFrags recommendations. I was originally using ultra and high for most settings. I now basically have everything to low apart from mesh quality set to ultra. Also changed AntiAliasing to LOW and Ambient Occlusion to OFF.  Getting an average of 120 to 130 fps and the game still looks good. No idea what fps I was getting previously but cant complain how the game runs currently :)

I also tweaked my system and set it up as JackFrags described. Still, I seldom get good fps.
From this icons I see the FPS almost constantly especially in busy maps (like Rotterdam for example)

At the moment I think I have exhausted every option I could find to tweaking this game (I even tried running it in very low res).
Measuring my CPU or GPU never reaches 100% utilization. So what can the bottleneck be? (I think it is memory but my 1600 DDR3 should cut it).

On single player the game runs smooth.
Since I'm doing like shit in multiplayer (K/D 0.01 or something) I will stick to single player on this one.

Should someone have an idea on how to troubleshoot this I'll be happy to give it a shot.

Hurray! It seems like I managed to get BF1 and BFV running smooth as silk. How?

I cleaned up my entire PC software.
Using this tool called "Bulk Crap Uninstaller" I removed all unwanted software.
Then I disabled all windows services I don't really need.

I also removed all software that once came with the motherboard. All drivers were reinstalled using the device manger.
So, no longer I have a tray full of crap I actually never used.

Then, I edited the PROFSAVE_profile file .\Documents\Battlefield V\settings
GstRender.AntiAliasingDeferred 0
GstRender.AntiAliasingPost 0
GstRender.ConsoleAntiAlias 0
this seems to turn off antialiasing.

In the user.cfg I now have
perfoverlay.drawfps 1
Thread.JobThreadPriority 1
Thread.MaxProcessorCount 8

I still suck in multiplayer as I have a hard time spotting enemies and they sure have no trouble spotting me.
But at least it no longer stutters. Hopefully my server disconnect issues are resolved with this as well.
Sadly this problem persists. Multiplayer game connections do not seem to work reliable for the past few weeks.

Nevertheless, maybe these things can help someone else who has issues with the fps.

To continue the above I pasted the user.cfg from this forum thread into my user.cfg https://forums.battlefield.com/en-us/discussion/160529/dice-what-is-happening-with-the-anti-aliasing/p2
It improved visibility of enemy players for me dramatically.

Maybe it can help you guys as well. The flip side it the screen gets a little unstable to look at. But when you move around that is not very obvious to see.
