I  think your right m8,i never got to play the alpha but i paid for bfv already and i cant wait like you i hope it will be the best bf game yet fingers crossed.

I think the difference (and i could be wrong) that BFV other game modes will be popular as well. Seems like with BF1 besides conquest the other game modes never really took off.

its always been conquest for all the bf games which seem to be most players choice when playing, And i don't see it being any different in the new bfv mate

I agree with that statement and i understood what you were saying Glyn, but i don't know about the other modes being more popular than previous bf games,so there for we will have to wait and see as you say. indeed or ,Yarp

the release date has now been moved to November 20th not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

So from reading Twitter it seems that there will be no RSP or custom servers at launch, all I can say is what the actual fuck........didn't Dice/EA learn anything. Thought this would Have been a top priority.

Yep you would of thought they would of learnt their lesson and tried to at least to make amends after the complete f*** up they did with the battlefield 1 RSP. That whole thing was a farce. TBH I am not really surprised by this news.

Also I wonder what wonderful controls we will get this time when it does finally gets rolled out.

Admins can currently:

-Move players
- Kick
- Ban
- Change Map
- Add Vips


Call me a pessimist - but I cant actually see them improving or even adding anything to it. Probably just going to be a complete re-skin of the BF1 server controls. Hope they prove me wrong.

I am still going to buy it. The servers will most likely still come along but the big question is when. EA just dont like to share much info when it comes to servers.

Bf1 released in a good state i would say, how long did it take to get RSP servers? You have to admit the bf5 alpha was in abit of a mess, im just wondering if getting the game up to scatch for the released is going to have a effect on development going forward. The question is how much can be done in just 6 weeks.

Cant remember exactly the timelines - but it something like a couple of months after the release of the game when the rented servers appeared. The rented servers didnt even have a option to kick, ban or even move players! The only thing you could do was to rename the server, oh and add maps to the server LOL. I think it was another 2 months later they then introduced kick and ban and being able to add admins to the server. After that they introduced vips. Was a complete shambles mate.

EA views on the RSP. Reading into what the guy said that the RSP most likely will happen (on the radar) and might have a few more options and a improvement on the BF1 RSP.

Seems that they learnrd some lesson ,(70%BF Comunity wants clean,straight gameplay,like they used too,Imao)!

I am openminded for new things of course ,a NEW Part of a series,should have to bring up NEW stuff!
But when u have the feeling,the FUN,wich should stay at first place in any Game,suffers for the cost of some new material in game,they should to consider,weather it is SOOO important to bring tht NEW stuff in,OR put it behind the good old fashioned things,that worked well in the Past...

IF ea/dice decide to bring some of the old maps from BF1942 maps - which of them would you like to see on BFV? link below is the list of maps from BF1942.

Personally I would prefer maps like Wake Island,  Battle of Britain and Operation Market Garden. Imo all great maps which I think would be really good on BFV if they were resurrected. My gut feeling is that they may bring one of them back but doubtful if they come out on release of the game in November.

After a few horrible rounds on BF1 yesterday where our team lost most of our flags and getting spawn killed all the time and constantly getting spotted  - I am really warming to the idea of not having any 3D spotting on BFV. I guess when we all heard the news this was getting taken out from the new game quite a few of us were concerned about this - but i actually think its going to be a great thing for those reasons above and for a bit of realism

I cant see how they can take 3D spotting out of the game, when there will be Motars in game

Squad spotting, so it means you pretty much will need a spotter :| Or do what I already need to do :  spot yourself, get back in the mortar, after the first round you can do with what you saw. But on some map it's not possible :|

Well the original info we had was that 3D spotting was only going to be given to squads only which seemed fair enough. Though it doesnt seem there is going to be spotting at all now. Who knows maybe they will have a change of heart and include it afterall or at a later date after everyone is complaining about it

nice post daz took me a year to read it all,no wait i mean 2 years lol i like this bit,,Well having the premium pass be the price of a new game often means people will buy another game like say Red Dead Redemption 2 and enjoy more overall content for their money. Nobody wants to spend almost $120 or more on one game, especially just to play with some friends on a new map with a couple new guns. i do my friends and this clan here at AMG is my gaming home

Yes, it looks like they have messed it up for the people that liked it in order to try and get the people that didn't like it to like it but they have just fucked it up royally.
Now, I can put an entire clip from my KE7 into someone and they just turn around and shoot me..  It's way worse than it was. It's going to drive more people away from the game....stupid EA/Dice.

sad day all the same, massive regression from their original path and you all know I took a healthy dislike to BF1 for that reason and I was surprised with the gameplay of 5 - (and delighted I was) I thought they have finally cracked it....  


between that and the uncertainty with the rental servers...its disappointing.

Yeah there seems to be a lot of people who are a bit disapointed with the latest updates for the game. The lack of info about rental servers is just poor from EA/DICE. Though not entirely surprising following the BF1 rsp debacle.

However I would suggest to everyone to hang in their and hopefully they will get it sorted on both counts....................................eventually

Some of the tips in that video work rather well. I'm running on 100fps now iso 60. I do have some tearing as it is no longer vsynced. But, if it reduces my lag I will give it a chance. Thanks.
