Title: What is seeding? Why do we do it? + Seeding Tool download link!

Updated on 24/12/2022:
Version 3.2 Fixed issue that the game will restart on every join request ( for example swapping from "auto-rejoin" to "no auto-rejoin" ).

Every morning around 8CET we start to fill up our servers so that that members and community players can enjoy it all day and all night long.
We join and remain on the server untill it reaches 27vs27. At that point, it's save to leave.
If and when one of the servers is online, or you got kicked for being idle for to long, just hop on to the next server until it reaches 27vs27.

What's in it for you?
- 2 servers where you can play cheatfree and toxicfree all day long!
- Free VIP acces to the AMG servers ( no queue + no kicks to make room for admins ) if you seed on a regular basis

We seed servers in the following order:
- AMG #1 All maps
- AMG #2 Vanilla maps

Arguments we often hear why people don't seed:

I don't know when to seed which server.
=> If you start after 08:00 CET, it's simple, just join AMG1.
=> If you want to help a bit later in the morning, simply look in the "Battlefield 1" channel on our discord and you'll see a ping if the members moved on to AMG2 already.
=> If you use our automated seeding tool, you can just run that tool and it automatically joins the correct server. ( download link below )

I play other games in the morning.
You are still able to play other games, mine for cryptocurrency or run other compute workloads while seeding AFK in BF1. The game utilizes only 1-2% CPU and 0% GPU when minimized.
It's not recommended to use the afk seeding tool if you want to play other games because it will sometimes opens the Battlefield 1 game automaticly.

I can't keep the game maximized in order to view if I get kicked or not. On top of that, the power usage of the hardware is quite high.
=> For those of you who that trust us and the GameTools.network dev's, you can simply download the BF1 seeding tool below.
=> For those of you who don't want to run the tool, you can simply minimize the game to reduce power usage after you spawn and maximize the game every 20min to see if you need to rejoin.

I leave for work or school in the morning so I can't help seed.
You can. Simply use the BF1 seeding tool. A download link can be found below. It can even shut down your pc after seeding is done if you want to.
Or simply start your game, join one of the servers, spawn in, minimize the game. Run the tool "Kshutdown" ( download: https://kshutdown.sourceforge.io/download.html ) and set a shutdown timer for your PC.

I don't like to play Sinai desert and you guys always seed on Sinai Desert.
It's a big map which makes it a bit harder to capture all objectives ( but not impossible ), it has lots of vehicles so it allows people to practice in the pre-round and premium pass is not required in order to join. Since the launch of Battlefield 1 it has always been the best map for seeding. You can still seed afk by using the BF1 seeding tool if you want to help without playing Sinai.

Use the discord channel "#bf1-server-updates" or https://gametools.network/servers?search=amg&game=bf1&region=all&platform=pc&limit=10 to view the current server status.

---

Seeding can be fun. Not only do we provide a dedicated voice channel where you can have a chat with eathother in the morning. It's also an opportunity to mess around in the game and troll a bit. Feel free to use this topic to share some funny moments or simply share why you help seed and why.

Click here for the BF1 Seeding tool download: ( provided by http://gametools.network ) (https://alliancemultigaming.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=5102.0;attach=1463)

More info, including the source code, can be found here: https://github.com/community-network/bf1-seeder/releases/tag/v3.2

Once you run the tool for the first time, a config.txt file will get generated.
Close the tool, open the config.txt file and paste this code to replace the original code:

group_id = '6852845a-850d-11eb-b244-0a58a9feac02'
game_location = ''C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 1\bf1.exe'
hostname = 'JRMBelgium'
allow_shutdown = false
send_messages = false
usable_client = true
fullscreen_anti_afk = true
use_ea_desktop = true
message = 'Join our discord, we are recruiting: discord.gg/amgc'
message_server_name = '[AMG]'
message_start_time_utc = '12:00'
message_stop_time_utc = '23:00'
message_timeout_mins = 8

You only need to change the hostname and the location of bf1.exe if it's not installed in the provided game location.

Optional settings:

Allow shutdown:
Let seeding admins shut down your computer when seeding is done for maximum power saving.
Usable client mode:
This allows you to close the tool at any time and play yourself when you want to. Turn this off for additional memory and energy saving, but remember that the game will launch in an unplayable state.
fullscreen_anti_afk:
This will make sure the account remains in the server without you actually having to spend time in the game.
