Hi all,

I bought a new video card to up my fps on BF1. While I now am able to play with better settings getting 60 fps most of the time, it occasionally still drops frame rate.
I have been tweaking it and I seems now stable at 60 but it is still a bit iffy.

Some tweaks I did in BF1 video settings:
Basic:
Vertical Sync On (just looks bad without)
FOV 70
Ads FOV on (whatever that is)
All other stuff here is on 0% or off.

Advanced:
HDR auto
HDR mode HDR10
DX12 Off
Res Scale 100
UI Scale 50
Framerate limiter Monitor Refresh
GPU mem restrictions On
Texture Qty High
Texture Filter High
Lighting Qty Low
Effects Qty Low
Post Proc Qty Low
Mesh Qty High
Terrain Qty Medium
Undergrowth Qty Low
Anti aliasing post Taa
Ambient occlusion off

User.cfg
perfoverlay.drawfps 1
gametime.maxvariablefps 61
RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 1
RenderDevice.TripleBufferingEnable 0
Thread.MaxProcessorCount 8

NVidia 3d settings I changed
Anisotropic filtering 2x (whatever that is. read this tip on some forum)
Max pre-rendered frames 1

NVidia PhysX is forced to used the gfx processer at all times.

All this stuff, whatever it may mean, was found on various forums and improved things a lot.

What settings have you guys made to improve fps (and what do they mean)?

Thanks!

Kind regards,
Erno

BRlGitTeBarDOT

Intel Core i5-4460, 3200 MHz
8 GB DDR3-1600 DDR3
Radeon R7 200 Series  (2 GB)

All off and minimal.
Res Scale 40 sometimes 50.

+ MSI Afterburner buster card...
