Even if anyone doesnt invest in the new cards - at least one thing which will be good the likes of your 1080ti's / 1080/ 1070 Graphic cards will start to drop in price with the release of the next gen cards.
As you said at 1440p there's simply no need to upgrade my 1080ti. The BFV alpha ran just fine at Ultra, and that will likely be my main game for next year anyway
